A dedicated course to learning networking, DNS, routing, subnetting, firewall(firwalld and iptables), IPv6, troubleshooting. You can't get any Linux job without good networking fundamentals, and most importantly practice/practical knowledge.

Yea, one specific course on how to define basic IPv4 and IPv6 setting on Debian and Redhat family linux with temporary and permanent ways, various tools to do and what will be the best recommended way to do it. Later covering some other advance topic on networking as routing, NAT, Firewalling and some troubleshooting and packet capturing methods.

I work with configuring rack switches as part of my job.  Everything I've learned about them is "caught" by watching and being coached by engineers.  I have a lot of gaps in my knowledge with regard to switches.  It would be great if a module could be added to Networking w/ Linux that covers switch management:  configuring, using the CLI, upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.

I would just add, that I would like to see in such course explained in details from bottom to top all ISO/OSI layers and how it works, what packets carry, which information is changed by switch, which by router. Setup different networks; also setting up some more complicated network stuff like teaming, virtual switches, many addresses on one interface, static persistent routes etc.

I can see this course covering several topics: DNS (Bind), Firewall (iptables), and TCP/IP basics. I would think that LPIC-2 or another course would cover sub-netting in general or another topic idea itself.

This Course is well needed, some Topics I would Like to see Centos 7 Network Teaming with a Virtual Bridge as in normal KVM Operation. Would Love to see a Course on Red Hat Free IPA Server, Openldap configuration is Difficult and training on it harder to find. Free IPA Server is replacing Openldap Configuration.

Need a Course on That, Free IPA Server Courses hard to find that are complete Server and Client Configuration.
